Common Loon - Photographers Notes: I've spent the late afternoon golden hour on Lake Arrowhead in North Waterboro, Maine in my kayak photographing two adult Bald Eagles guarding their nest containing their two baby eaglets on the shore of the lake. I was taken by surprise, when this beautiful loon swims quietly past me giving me the perfect opportunity to shoot this photograph.
